Emma Raducanu has received support from Great Britain’s Billie Jean King Cup captain, Anne Keothavong, after withdrawing from the upcoming qualifiers. Although Keothavong expressed disappointment, she acknowledged Raducanu’s contribution to last year’s success and respects her decision.

Raducanu’s recent performances, including a strong Miami Open showing, followed a tough travel schedule and a disturbing stalker incident in Dubai. Her team opted for rest and recovery, prompting her to skip the Billie Jean King Cup and other events this month.

She is expected to return at the Madrid Open on April 22, ahead of the French Open in May. Whether she competes in the full clay season remains uncertain.
