The real reason Jordan Spieth keeps struggling has nothing to do with his swing.

Jordan Spieth’s PGA Tour win drought has dragged on since April 2022. Even though the 32-year-old works tirelessly, his current performance is miles away from his dominant peak between 2015 and 2017. Ironically, the more effort he puts into fixing his game, the worse his results seem to become, causing serious worry for fans.

While his driving, iron play, and short game are noticeably weak, his biggest obstacle isn’t physical at all. The real problem is a subtle lack of self-awareness. Spieth continuously insists he is on the verge of returning to his best form, but the reality is that he is completely out of touch with his current struggles.

This false optimism only leads to deeper frustration and unnecessary stress. If Spieth could just be honest with himself and admit how much he is struggling, it would take the pressure off. Acknowledging that he is nowhere close to winning would allow him to wipe the slate clean and make necessary changes.

The grim statistics expose the truth, showing zero redeeming qualities in his game this season. He ranks poorly across the board, failing to break into the top 48 in any major performance category. The sooner Spieth accepts he is far from being a champion again, the sooner his real recovery can begin.
