Rickie Fowler’s caddie situation has changed in recent years, with Ricky Romano currently carrying the bag. Romano took over around the CJ Cup in South Carolina in October 2022. A seasoned caddie since 2012, he has worked with notable players like Jason Kokrak and Ben Crane.

Romano, a Murrieta, California native, has an impressive golf background. He played at the University of Houston, where his team won eight Division I tournaments. With a +3 handicap, his strengths as a caddie include reading greens, decision-making, and course management—skills he honed as a professional golfer.

Before Romano, Fowler had long-time caddie Joe Skovron, with whom he shared many career milestones. They parted ways before the 2022 FedEx Cup playoffs, leading Fowler to briefly work with Ben Schomin. Fowler acknowledged the change, emphasizing his need for greater accountability in his game.
