Justin Thomas has candidly admitted to feeling a sense of “jealousy” watching Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler dominate the PGA Tour. While happy for his peers, Thomas confessed the success of others fuels his desire to return to the top.

Thomas, 31, previously won the PGA Championship in 2017 but faced a challenging few years before ending a three-year drought with a win at the RBC Heritage. Now, he’s focused on regaining his position among golf’s elite ahead of the PGA Championship.

He shared that seeing McIlroy chase a career Grand Slam reignited his own dreams. Though he respects fellow players’ achievements, Thomas admitted that deep down, he always wishes he were the one lifting trophies.
