Justin Thomas delivered another stellar performance at the 2025 Valspar Championship, shooting a 6-under 65 in the third round to move into contention. His round featured an eagle and five birdies, including a crucial one on the challenging 16th hole. To secure his 16th PGA Tour victory, Thomas will need another low round on Sunday.

A week after tying the course record with a 62 at TPC Sawgrass, Thomas found himself battling just to make the cut at Innisbrook. However, he turned things around with a Saturday surge, playing alongside Jordan Spieth for a third consecutive day. His back-nine charge, which included an eagle and three straight birdies, showcased his ability to thrive under pressure.

Spieth acknowledged the friendly rivalry, admitting that their pairing pushed them both to perform better. With Thomas sitting near the top of the leaderboard and the final round approaching, he remains a strong contender. Given recent winning scores at Valspar, another strong Sunday performance could see him lift the trophy once again.
