Jordan Spieth and Max Homa struggled at the Genesis Invitational, missing the cut at Torrey Pines. The event, relocated from Riviera Country Club due to Los Angeles wildfires, marked Spieth’s first missed cut of the season and continued Homa’s difficult stretch on tour.

Spieth, returning from wrist surgery, showed promise with a fourth-place finish at the WM Phoenix Open but faltered in tough conditions at Torrey Pines. He posted rounds of 76 and 74, finishing 6-over. Meanwhile, Homa, battling inconsistency since last year’s Masters, carded 76 and 75, missing the cut by three strokes.

Homa remains optimistic despite recent struggles, emphasizing trust in his process. However, his missed cuts and declining results put pressure on him to regain form. Both players now look to rebound as the PGA Tour season progresses.
