Max Homa experienced an unexpected moment at the 2025 Masters when his second shot on the par-5 8th hole struck a field caddie. The ball veered left, catching the unsuspecting caddie near the trees.
Despite the bizarre mishap, Homa completed the round with a 2-over 74. His scorecard included four birdies, four bogeys, and a double bogey, leaving him nine shots behind leader Justin Rose after day one.
Homa is set to tee off for Round 2 alongside Justin Rose and J.J. Spaun on Friday, April 11, at 8:52 a.m. ET. He’ll aim to recover from recent struggles, having missed five consecutive cuts this season.
