Lexi Thompson recently played in the 2025 Founders Cup, confirming that her retirement from full-time LPGA Tour play is not absolute. She previously announced during the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open that it would be her final season as a full-time competitor.

Thompson has indicated plans to participate in the Ford Championship and the JM Eagle LA Championship, skipping the LPGA’s three-event Asia swing. She also has lifetime eligibility for the Chevron Championship, the season’s first major, ensuring her presence in key tournaments.
