The Arnold Palmer Invitational, one of the PGA Tour’s Signature Events, is set for this weekend. These exclusive tournaments feature limited fields with top players competing over four rounds. However, some notable names will be absent from this year’s competition.

Among those missing is Jordan Spieth, who fell just short of qualifying through the Aon Swing 5. Rickie Fowler also failed to make the cut due to his current OWGR ranking. Additionally, Tyrrell Hatton remains ineligible as a LIV Golf member, preventing him from participating in PGA Tour events.

Tiger Woods, despite his exemption status, will also not be competing. He missed the commitment deadline and continues to manage his playing schedule carefully. Rising star Jake Knapp is another omission after a late-round struggle at the Cognizant Classic cost him a spot in the field.
