Sam Kerr’s grandmother, Coral Kerr, has shared her story of resilience while celebrating her 90th birthday, just months after a serious car accident near her Perth home. The great-grandmother was struck while stepping off a bus last December.

The crash left her with multiple fractures, including a broken pelvis and shin. Despite a long hospital stay and intensive recovery, Coral marked her milestone surrounded by family, expressing gratitude for life and her ability to walk again.

While Sam Kerr couldn’t attend due to injury, Coral praised their close bond. Her grandsons celebrated her strength, calling her recovery a “massive achievement” and a moment of joy for the entire family.
