Football star Sam Kerr has shared a glimpse of her life back in London, hinting at her grandmother’s recovery after a recent accident.

Coral Kerr, 89, was critically injured on December 27 when a 63-year-old driver, attempting to overtake a bus, struck her with his vehicle on the footpath in Palmyra, Perth. Following the tragic news, Sam and her father, Roger Kerr, immediately returned to Perth from a wedding in New South Wales.

Sam’s Instagram posts, featuring her fiancée Kristie Mewis and their cat, captioned “girls are back together” and “and we are back,” suggest her grandmother’s condition has stabilized.

Legal Proceedings and Community Support
The driver involved in the incident has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and is set to appear in Fremantle Magistrates Court on February 4.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle struck a power pole before hitting Coral Kerr, with neighbors and bus passengers rushing to assist her at the scene. While her condition remains serious but stable, the community has rallied around the Kerr family during this challenging time.
