Rennae Stubbs has expressed her willingness to coach Emma Raducanu, stating that she would never refuse the opportunity to work with a Grand Slam champion. Raducanu, who recently parted ways with coach Nick Cavaday, is carefully considering her next coaching appointment as she searches for stability in her team.

Stubbs, a former Grand Slam doubles champion, shared her coaching perspective on The Rennae Stubbs Tennis Podcast. She emphasized the need to understand Raducanu’s personal and professional aspirations before making any technical adjustments. According to Stubbs, establishing a clear dialogue with Raducanu would be the first step in crafting a coaching strategy tailored to her needs.

Raducanu has faced challenges in maintaining consistency on the WTA tour since her historic 2021 US Open victory. Injuries and frequent coaching changes have hampered her progress. Despite showing promise at the Australian Open, early tournament exits have fueled criticism. However, Sky Sports presenter Gigi Salmon encouraged Raducanu to block out negativity and concentrate on rebuilding her form ahead of upcoming competitions in Doha and Dubai.
