Jim Furyk, the 2024 U.S. Presidents Cup captain, recently praised Jordan Spieth’s aggressive playing style. The Ryder Cup USA shared a clip highlighting Spieth’s impressive shots over the years, captioning it: “Jordan Spieth on repeat. Literally.” Furyk, who has a net worth of $60 million, reshared the post on X (formerly Twitter), expressing admiration for Spieth’s fearless approach, writing, “I absolutely love the aggression and commitment in this move @JordanSpieth. Not steerin’ it :)”.

Spieth has built a strong Ryder Cup record, boasting an 8-7-3 overall record. The 2025 Ryder Cup, scheduled for September 26–28 at Bethpage Black Course in New York, will once again feature 12 players, with six auto-qualifications and six captain’s picks. Currently, Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Bryson DeChambeau, Collin Morikawa, Maverick McNealy, and Patrick Cantlay lead the U.S. team standings, while Spieth ranks 40th, making his qualification uncertain.

In 2025, Spieth has experienced mixed results, following a wrist injury that affected his 2024 season. He finished tied for 69th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am but rebounded with a fourth-place finish at the WM Phoenix Open. However, he struggled at the Genesis Invitational, missing the cut. Reflecting on his offseason, Spieth revealed he spent time with his family while recovering and announced he and his wife Annie are expecting their third child. His performance in the coming months will determine his place in the Ryder Cup team.
