LIV Golf recorded its highest U.S. TV ratings to date, drawing 484,000 viewers for Sunday’s final round at Trump Doral on Fox. Despite the milestone, the event was far behind the PGA Tour’s Valero Texas Open, which drew 1.746 million.

The Miami event featured top names like Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, and Jon Rahm in contention, yet it failed to match the PGA Tour, which had a less star-studded leaderboard. This highlights LIV’s ongoing challenge of building mainstream American viewership despite increased exposure.

Although LIV outperformed the PGA Tour briefly on Friday, Sunday’s numbers emphasize its uphill battle. With no merger in sight and golf ratings dipping overall, LIV must find new ways to capture a broader audience or risk continued stagnation.
