Jordan Spieth is embracing a fresh mindset for the upcoming season, aiming to “have more fun” and “smile more” on the course. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Spieth emphasized his desire to enjoy the game while striving for further success.

The two-time major champion admitted to moments of frustration in 2016, despite securing three worldwide victories. Determined to change his approach, Spieth hopes a more relaxed attitude will help him perform at his best, starting with the AT&T PEBBLE PRO AM this week.

Reflecting on his past struggles, Spieth acknowledged that his temper may have been too short at times. He remains focused on winning more tournaments and is particularly targeting a major championship victory, with his sights set on the Masters.

Spieth, who last won a PGA Tour event in May, is eager to return to the winner’s circle. Confident in his abilities, he believes his team has the right strategy to secure more titles. “Each year, I want to win more than the year before,” he stated.
