Jordan Spieth, Viktor Hovland commit to Memorial, but still no Rory McIlroy

Jordan Spieth and Viktor Hovland have officially committed to the 2025 Memorial Tournament, joining a strong field that includes Ludvig Aberg, Tony Finau, and Rickie Fowler. Hovland returns after his 2023 victory at Muirfield Village Golf Club.

The tournament, starting May 29, will feature seven of the top ten players in the world, led by No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Notably absent so far is No. 2 Rory McIlroy, who has until Friday at 5 p.m. to confirm his participation.

Spieth boasts five top-20 finishes at Memorial, while Aberg impressed with a T-5 finish in 2024. Finau and Fowler also bring strong records, with Fowler twice finishing as runner-up at the prestigious event.
