Jim Furyk, the 2024 U.S. Presidents Cup captain, recently praised Jordan Spieth’s aggressive playing style on social media. The Ryder Cup USA shared a video highlighting Spieth’s best shots over the years, captioned, “Jordan Spieth on repeat. Literally.” Furyk reshared the post, expressing admiration for Spieth’s commitment, stating, “I absolutely love the aggression and commitment in this move @JordanSpieth. Not steerin’ it :)”

Spieth has built an impressive Ryder Cup record, holding an 8-7-3 overall performance. As the 2025 Ryder Cup approaches, the tournament is set to take place at Bethpage Black Course in New York from September 26 to 28. While Scottie Scheffler and other top-ranked players are in contention for automatic qualification, Spieth, currently ranked 40th, will need a captain’s pick to secure his spot on the team.

In 2025, Spieth has shown mixed results following his recovery from a wrist injury that affected his 2024 season. He tied for 69th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am but secured a strong fourth-place finish at the WM Phoenix Open. Despite missing the cut at the Genesis Invitational, Spieth remains focused on improving his performance. Off the course, he recently revealed in an interview that he spent the offseason with family and is expecting his third child with his wife, Annie.
