Michael Greller, Jordan Spieth’s long-time caddie, recently admitted to having a strong addiction to sweets. During an appearance on *Golf.com’s The Scoop*, Greller confessed his love for desserts, particularly mint chocolate chip ice cream. The 46-year-old, currently on a break while Spieth recovers from wrist surgery, humorously acknowledged his struggle with sugary treats.

Before becoming a professional caddie, Greller was a high school math teacher in Seattle and worked part-time as a caddie. He met Spieth in 2011 during the U.S. Junior Amateur and decided to take a year off teaching to support Spieth’s career. His gamble paid off, as Spieth quickly rose to fame, securing his first PGA Tour victory at the John Deere Classic in 2013.

Greller played a crucial role in Spieth’s career, particularly during his major championship wins. In 2017, his motivational words helped Spieth regain confidence at The Open Championship, leading to his third major title. Their decade-long partnership is built on trust, strategic discussions, and a shared passion for the game, making them one of golf’s most respected player-caddie duos.
