Nelly Korda had a stellar 2024 season, winning seven Tour titles, a Major Championship, and the LPGA Player of the Year award. However, as she heads into 2025, her top priority is to “stay healthy” and avoid injuries that could sideline her.

Korda suffered a neck injury late last season, forcing her to miss several tournaments. To prevent a recurrence, she has carefully planned her 2025 schedule. She will begin her season at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament in Orlando, balancing competition with recovery.

During a press conference, Korda emphasized that maintaining her health would guide her tournament decisions. She explained that her schedule is structured to keep her in peak condition for Major Championships. If her body isn’t at 100%, she won’t push herself unnecessarily.

The Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament, held from January 30 to February 2 at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club, features a strong lineup, including defending champion Lydia Ko. With a $2 million prize pool and $300,000 for the winner, Korda will face stiff competition as she kicks off her season.
