Former PGA Tour winner Smylie Kauffman has suggested that LIV Golf star Dustin Johnson consider retiring and transitioning into broadcasting. His comments came after Johnson’s poor performance at LIV Golf Hong Kong, where he posted his worst career result, finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Kauffman, who now works as a broadcaster and hosts *The Smylie Show* on YouTube, discussed Johnson’s struggles with co-host Charlie Hulme. Hulme noted that Johnson finished “DFL” (dead last), prompting Kauffman to suggest that the two-time major champion might be better suited for a role in broadcasting.

Johnson’s performance at LIV Golf Hong Kong was disappointing, with an opening-round 77 and a second-round 74, putting him far behind the competition. Despite a strong third round, he still finished 19 strokes behind winner Sergio Garcia. As he prepares for LIV Golf Singapore, Johnson will aim to improve his form and break his streak of underwhelming finishes this season.
