Bernhard Langer concluded a 41-year journey at the Masters with a touching farewell in 2025. As a tribute to his enduring legacy, Mercedes-Benz—a $164.3 billion global automotive giant and longtime sponsor—presented him with a custom-built S-Class from their MANUFAKTUR facility.

The Masters-themed vehicle, adorned in iconic green and featuring Langer’s signature, symbolizes his decades-long bond with both the tournament and Mercedes-Benz. The 67-year-old, a two-time Masters champion, called the moment emotional and bittersweet as he bid farewell to competitive play at Augusta National.

Langer debuted at the Masters in 1982 and made 27 cuts, with nine top-10 finishes and a scoring average of 72.84. He became the oldest to make the cut in 2020 at age 62. His decision to retire follows recovery from an Achilles injury and the increasing demands of the course.
