Justin Thomas secured his first win in three years at the RBC Heritage, with Joe Greiner caddying in only their second event together. Greiner, formerly with Max Homa, stepped in after Thomas’s regular caddie, Matt “Rev” Minister, suffered a back injury.

Despite their success, Thomas confirmed their partnership is temporary. Speaking to SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, he emphasized it was a “fill-in situation” and expressed excitement about Rev’s return, while also praising Greiner’s professionalism and ability to adapt quickly.

Thomas commended Greiner’s balance of guidance and restraint during critical moments. He is expected to compete next at the Truist Championship, ahead of the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, where he previously captured his first major in 2017.
