Derek Jeter, the legendary Yankees icon and Hall of Famer, continues to embrace new ventures since retiring from MLB in 2014. A beloved figure in New York, Jeter has now extended his passion for sports by investing in the New York Golf Club, a team competing in the TGL—a high-profile golf league co-founded by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Mike McCarley.

On Tuesday, Jeter celebrated as NY Golf Club secured a playoff berth with a thrilling victory over Boston Common Golf. He shared several pictures on social media alongside team members Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, and Cameron Young. The post also featured moments with Red Sox legend David Ortiz and golfers Adam Scott and Keegan Bradley.

The TGL league, recognized by the PGA Tour, consists of six teams, with four advancing to the playoffs. NY will face Los Angeles on March 17, while The Bay takes on Atlanta on March 18 to determine the finalists. Jeter praised the league’s unique format, emphasizing its accessibility and excitement, making golf more engaging for both players and fans.
