Jordan Spieth expressed optimism about his performance at the WM Phoenix Open 2025, despite feeling his final-round score didn’t fully reflect his play. He carded a 3-under 68 on Sunday, February 9, finishing T4 with an aggregate score of 16-under, eight strokes behind winner Thomas Detry.

Reflecting on his progress, Spieth noted that his performance wasn’t a one-off but rather a sign of improvement. He emphasized his realistic approach and low expectations while focusing on steady progress. Having recently returned from wrist surgery, he viewed the tournament as a step in the right direction.

Spieth acknowledged areas needing improvement, particularly tee to green and on the greens. However, he expressed relief at regaining confidence, feeling as though a weight had been lifted. With momentum from this event, he aims to build on his form and consistently contend in future tournaments.
